Minutes from Ponsonby and the Auckland CBD, West End Bowling Club is an old school club on the sunny northern slopes of Herne Bay. Come along and have a beer while you enjoy a roll up on our bowling green or a game of petanque. Club members will be around to get you started and make sure you feel at home.   ​

The 2024 season is open

Our Tuesday social roll ups are on!  We're here from 5ish and looking forward to getting you started. Join us after the game for a drink and chat in our clubrooms.

Planning your events and meetings

Our greens

There has been work on the greens over winter and they are now open for play.

Cater your own event

When you book your event with us, you can organise your own catering or self-cater with a BBQ/kitchen on site.  A full and reasonably priced bar is available (no BYO).

Book meeting space

We have plenty of room available to host your meetings/retreats or workshops.  

Great venue for a social gathering

We have a bowling tournament with our local friends every year at West End Bowling Club.  Everyone has a great time and it's a fantastic way to get your friends together and have fun bowling.
