Minutes from Ponsonby and the Auckland CBD, West End Bowling Club is an old school club on the sunny northern slopes of Herne Bay. Come along and have a beer while you enjoy a roll up on our bowling green or a game of petanque. Club members will be around to get you started and make sure you feel at home.   ​

The 2024 season is open

Our Tuesday social roll ups are on!  We're here from 5pm and looking forward to getting you started. Join us after the game for a drink in our clubrooms.

Planning your events and meetings

Cater your own event

When you book your event with us, you can organise your own catering or self-cater with our BBQ/kitchen on site.  A full and reasonably priced bar is available (no BYO).

Book meeting space

We have plenty of room available to host your meeting/retreat/workshop.  

Great venue for a social gathering

We have a bowling tournament with our local friends every year at West End Bowling Club.  Everyone has a great time and it's a fantastic way to get your friends together and have fun bowling.
